I grew up in a small town where hard work was the norm. After high school, I joined the Air Force to avoid student debt, serving six years and earning three degrees. Later, I built a career in aerospace and telecom, but long commutes and family time made us rethink everything. We realized it made more sense for me to stay home, so we embraced life on one income, homeschooling, simplifying, and eventually traveling full-time in our RV.
